A teenage photoshoot is not something I am often asked to do.. 

When our children are young and changing on a daily basis we want to capture every little moment on camera. The tiny hands and chubby cheeks, the first steps, the cheeky smiles and big cuddles bursting with love. I love these shoots with young families. I love freezing moments in time knowing that each family will look back on the photos in years to come with a big smile on their face.

But why does this stop when our children get older? The chubby cheeks, and mischievous smiles may have disappeared but they have been replaced with something equally as gorgeous. Your little people have become little adults and are still changing all the time. Capturing family connection at any age is so important. Your children are still going to love looking back at themselves and the family when they were toddlers AND teenagers. Photographing your children is great for their self esteem. To see themselves in photos as a family makes them feel safe and part of something special. This is especially true for teenagers who may feel self conscious and trying to find their place in the world. My photos will bring out the best in them and make them feel and look amazing.

I had a blast photographing these gorgeous sisters! The park next to their house provided some gorgeous backdrops and we managed to get the family dog involved, something they didn’t think was going to be possible!
