Sunny autumnal days are some of my favourite to shoot in and this family photoshoot in Mill Hill park in September was no exception. The sun was shining, the colours were beautiful and I had 2 families and a gorgeous dog to photograph. Happy days!

This was only the second time I’ve used Mill Hill park as a location to shoot in. I love the different back drops it provides.

First up – woods, gates and some lovely trees to hide behind!

I love to find variation in my outdoor shoots and I was delighted to stumble across a disused shed to get some striking black and white shots of the children.

I also love brick walls. The perfect backdrop for some individual shots of the children!

This tree provided a beautiful frame not to mention stunning colour for some family shots. Don’t you just love the way the dog matches the backdrop perfectly!!

We finished the session with some big group shots including the very proud grandparents. And of course the dog!
