People often ask me when the best time to photograph a baby is.
Well, the general answer is any time is a good time as I’m always going to be able to capture some gorgeous images of your little one however old they are!
There are however some ‘optimum’ times to get the best out of your baby on a photo shot. The first is when they are under 2 weeks old and still sleepy and curled up. After that a great time to photograph them is when they are confident on their front holding their head up, rolling, sitting up or even crawling. Each of these milestones in a baby’s life make for more varied and interesting photos.
This little chap wasn’t quite crawling yet but he was very much enjoying life on his front!
